THAT is when the flood gates opened! Three members of the group started giving me grief.cussing at me and saying how I sucked anyway and they are glad I left. Twenty minutes later and three more times trying to communicate.so I left the group and went off on my own. I told the group I would stick around until they filled my spot and that I didn't want to keep messing up. Isn't that what the community is for? Anyway, I decided I was in over my head. Nobody in the group replied even after several more times asking for advice on how to keep up with my role. I addressed the group, let them know I needed advice and tried to continue. I played a Soul Fighter and I was doing well until we got into some tougher situations. The other night I joined a group to get some random quests done. I could understand if I stayed in the group and kept dragging them down, but when I try to fill the role, fall short then leave stating honestly the reason why there should be no consequences. What I don't get is why people get so angry when you do your best to be part of the group and work toward the better good of everyone, but come up short. I am willing to make room in a group for someone who is a better fit in my spot or more skilled at the role. If I can't handle it then I either get the boot or I leave.

I understand when I jump in a group I need to do my best to fill the role my class fits best. I also get the idea that when you join a group you have to conform to a standard, give a little to get a little. I have only played one other MMORPG, Guild Wars 2, so I am not very experienced with the idea of roles in groups.
